The PEXIM Foundation is a non-profit organisation that funds the studies of Serbian and North Macedonian students who were admitted at the University of Cambridge to pursue master’s degrees. Aside from providing them with scholarships, the Foundation is also dedicated to ensuring that the students have worthwhile jobs to come back to, as well as a network of mentors who support their personal and professional development.
The PEXIM Foundation’s mission is to foster the political, economic, and social progress of Serbia and North Macedonia by investing in young talents. Returning scholars support this mission by taking on jobs at Serbian and North Macedonian governments, think-tanks, international intergovernmental organisations, as well as by initiating and engaging in social initiatives.
To implement its mission, the PEXIM Foundation collaborates with the University of Cambridge, Cambridge Trust, the governments of Serbia and North Macedonia, the Centre for International Relations and Sustainable Development (CIRSD), as well as with the private sector.
To date, together with its partners, the PEXIM Foundation has invested over 1 million euros and supported over 30 Cambridge graduates.
